I bought this tent for myself and my 10 year old son to use on a 4 day hiking trip. I worked out great. It sets up easily, its light and has just enough room for 2 people and small gear. It could use a little more water proofing, but thats why they make Camp Dry.

i'm not very good with setting up tents or even repacking them, but this one is incredibly easy. and it packs up small. add that it's lightweight and it's a really good backpacking tent. it's more like a one person tent though. for one person there's plenty of room for you and your pack. you kinda have to squat to get into it, but pack an extra trash bag and use it for a doormat. no worries.

This tent is awesome for the price. I must recommend making a few alterations/additions. One is that I coating of waterproofing spray is a must as well as seam sealer. The low quality pegs should be switched out for some high quality aluminum ones. And if you do a lot of tenting you'll want to switch out the guy ropes that are included for something more durable, I've not bothered to do so because they've held up through everything I've put them through. Though I do a lot of camping I only use my tent when I'm certain of an upcoming downpour.
Otherwise this tent has been durable, comfortable and easy to use. It only sleeps one comfortably, two intimately. If you're wanting room to sit up and hang out you best be going with a dome tent. This tent is a no silly business tent made for getting in and laying down. With that said, I love my tent and have weathered many a storm with it.
Also for camouflage I spray painted the tent with the cheapest black spray paint I could find at walmart. It did not harm the tent or the waterproofing, I applied it before I put on the waterproofing spray though.

Tent performed well even under wet conditions. It is definately a one person tent. I would recommend this paticular tent for a bike trip. It is compactable for rack on a bike and very lightweight. This is not a tent for just everyday camping.

Took it on a recent backpacking trip. For the price the quality is good. It fit me, my dog and my backpack in it. A little cozier than I like, but I expected that. Pretty easy set up and tear down. Good for the price. If you are looking for an entry level backpacking tent this won't let you down. Btw, the pic on Amazon is the wrong one for this tent.
