5 out of 5 stars Excellent quality - but confusing sizing for me as an Europian customer   June 13, 2008

I'm from Norway. Have two pairs of Garmont buyed here - their US size 11. I bought this pair with US size 11 - my sister which live in Florida brought them here for me. But surprise. US size 11 here - and - over there (we call usa - over there in Norway) is at least 2 sizes short.

But a friend of me is happily showing of his new shoes - and his small feets - around the town. Boasting about the cool look, awsome quality - and the fact that this is a pair of shoes his feet loves. (His small f.. feets) He can walk hours and hours with this shoes he tells me. And his (small girlish) feets smile and smile and smile - in an insane competition with his stupid smiling face. Ohhh - by good - I envy him. And his happy for him. He he...

4 out of 5 stars Didn't miss a step   August 3, 2009

I needed a new pair of approach shoes for a job scurrying around a bunch of hills and valleys in Greenland. The Dragontail kept me up right at a fast pace both up and down. I was completely expecting to roll an ankle at least once but there is a surprising amount of support for a lower rise shoe.

The lacing system and uppers keep the shoe snug and comfortable. I would suggest adding your own insoles. After 5 days tooling around, these start to feel a little flat.

Overall, a great approach shoe that doesn't look ridiculous on the streets.
